Questions?
I just noticed on the bio page at my website that I said I'd be answering questions on my blog. So, if you have any questions about my books or writing, just let me know. I'll do my best to answer them.

Hi,

I was considering ordering one of your books via ellorascave for the first time, and I'm uncertain to how I would actually recieve the book. Would it be downloadable or would the book be sent through the actual postal system? The website never clearly defined how stories are recieved and I just would like to have an idea before I actually order. Thank you!

Hi,

Good question! You'll receive an email with a link that will allow you to download the ebook. They should also supply you with an email address for support, in case something goes screwy, and it doesn't work for you for some reason (you know the internet).

Ellora's Cave is really a great company, with so many wonderful authors. Thanks so much for considering ordering one of my books! I really appreciate that.

Ruth

Okay, I see now. Does this process also apply to Awe-struck ebooks as well? Sorry about all the questions but the concept of ebooks is still relatively new to me. Thanks!

The process should be about the same for Awe-Struck or any other epublisher. Some companies may also attach the ebook(s) directly to an email for you, but most use download links nowadays.

Some companies also offer ebooks on CDs or disks which are delivered through regular postal mail, but this isn't as common anymore, due to the higher cost required. If they don't specifically state "on CD" or "on disk" when you're ordering, then that means you'll receive a download or download link for the ebook.

No problem about all the questions! Ebooks are still new to a lot of people, and when dealing with something new, it can be quite confusing at first.

Hi! Thanks for asking. Xylon Warriors I is already in print and available either through EllorasCave.com or one of the major online booksellers (Amazon.com; BN.com; Booksamillion.com) and you should also be able to find it in the bookstores at Borders and Waldenbooks. Xylon Warriors II will probably go into print at the end of the year or shortly thereafter. Both the books are over 70,000 words, so they're being printed as separate novels.

Are you going to be posting any more free sexy short stories?

With my publishing deadlines, I really don't have that much time anymore to write the freebies -- darn it. However, there are a few more of my short stories at http://www.addicted-to-romance.com/gallery/index.htm (sensual to sexy), and I also have a webserial (light romance) at http://www.sleepingsarah.com that you might want to check out.
